Kebiliththa Accommodation

If you are visiting Kebiliththa devalaya, it is wise to start your journey in the early hours of the day as it involves a lot of travelling time to get there.  The duration to reach this sacred place depends on the route you follow and the weather conditions. Therefore it is advisable to spend the night before in a nearby place to avoid any delays. There are seven bungalows inside the park and can be booked through the Department of Wildlife and you may carry your own provisions. Due to their basic facilities and unavailability on peak times, travellers tend to look for other options outside the park.

Privately owned “Pitisara” hideout is located just 12km away from the new katagamuwa park entrance. Pitisara consists of 3 lockable cottages (19 adults) built in the traditional way along with a newly built open cottage which can accommodate 12 adults on its’ own.  Each of the cottages includes fully tiled attached western toilets along with other facilities. A separate kitchen and a dining area are available which could provide traditional delicious Sri Lankan meals on request.
